The Spectrum health city hospital Northampton emerged from a modest cottage hospital which was established 25th of June, 1955 by the Northampton government to provide health care services for the people of Northampton and its environment.The cottage hospital later metamorphosed into a full-fledged general hospital which served as a secondary level health care facility.

Intravenous pyelogram (IVP): Uses a contrast medium injection to evaluate the kidneys, ureters, and bladder.
Mammography: Uses a special X-ray machine to create images of breast tissue for detection of abnormalities.
